the house is ok, some tree limbs are scattered, but there's no other
damage. The electricity is on, the air conditioner is working - it
seems that it's always hotter after a hurricane.
South Plaquemines got hit pretty hard, a levee broke and there's a lot
of flooding in the Myrtle Grove area. Buddy's been working cutting up
and removing fallen tree limbs at the Church of Christ. Belle Chasse
came through the storm with 'minor' damage, mostly from the wind. It's
returning to normal, and watching Ike.
